My brother Joel called me the other day, telling me I had to go to GoogleEarth and type in the address of a house we lived in when I was a kid.

He had typed the address in himself earlier, out of curiosity. After that he decided to slide the cursor across the road to the cemetary where our grandfather is buried.
As he was zooming in, he saw something so, well, odd,  that he showed it immediately to a co-worker (who was apparently rattled as all get out), and then called me.

I am not going to tell you what I see, or what anyone who has looked at it has seen, because I don't want to color your perceptions or inform your opinion.

But I'm very interested is knowing what y'all see.   I captured three screenshots so that I could show them to you here. I promise you that these are actual satellite  images from GoogleEarth. They have not been altered in any way.

I love GoogleEarth. I don't know why, but it's strangely addictive.

(PS: does nobody see the zombie with one eyeball hanging out and a bloody stump for a right arm coming out of the ground in the first photo? No? Uh .. OK. *continues running and sobbing*)

I'm not exactly one to normally choose Microsoft over Google, Windows Live Beta blows Google Earth (the free version, anyway) out of the water. try it here:

Contrary answers:  Dude, we've lived in exactly one house that is remotely close to being across the street from the cemetary where Grandpa is buried.   Desoto.

I looked at those pictures both up close and far away, but I could make out no discernible detail whatsoever. Of course, I'm colorblind, and that has the effect (in my particular case) of distorting the contrast of black and white images sometimes.

Now I'm wondering if these images have been all around me my whole life, but I just can't see them. Maybe that's why I've never seen spirits. Hmmm...

Buffi, it's a small cemetary near Leigh, Texas... (it's off the hwy from Blanchard, LA to Marshall, TX) I didn't even mention the creepy old house next to it.
